Mathew Read is a University of Western Ontario undergraduate student studying history. He currently works for the NATO Association of Canada (NAOC) as President of the Saskatchewan division of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Organization Canada (YATA Canada). He also works in early youth development and will be attending Nipissing University to study under their BEd program after graduating from UWO in 2024. Mathew Read is incredibly passionate about studying extremism, focusing on its impact on democracy. He brings his knowledge and experience in early youth development to his studies by looking at the pipeline to extremism, which often targets youth.
