Masihullah Hanif holds a Master’s in Political Science, focusing on international relations and comparative politics from York University. He obtained his honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto Mississauga, majoring in Political Science and History. Masihullah’s research interests broadly focus on geopolitics, geoeconomics, civil wars, terrorism, and forms of government. He has a particular interest in Afghanistan’s political history and governance, along with issues of security and human rights in the country.
