Camille Lafenetre

Camille Lafenetre is a Geopolitical Analyst at CIDD, where she examines international security, military dynamics, and the evolving nature of conflict across global fronts. She holds a Master’s degree in International Commerce from Seoul National University, focusing on business and financial strategy, and a BSc in Political Science (Honours) from the University of Montreal, with a concentration in security and military affairs.

Driven by a fascination with the mechanics of conflict, peace, and regional stability, Camille studies how military, technological, and policy developments shape global power structures. Her work is informed by a careful, analytical approach and a deep curiosity about the forces that guide international relations, with particular expertise in East and Southeast Asia.

Beyond research and writing, Camille is an aspiring author with a passion for languages, cultural exploration, sports, and astronomy, bringing curiosity, insight, and a global perspective to everything she pursues.
