Patrick Green is a Canadian researcher focused on democratic resilience, security, and political economy. He recently graduated from University College London with an MSc in Security Studies and completed an Honours BA at the University of Toronto in Economics and International Relations. His research interests include international security, political economy, and strategic risk management, especially how institutional incentives and structural conditions shape state behavior and policy outcomes. His MSc dissertation examined how U.S. foreign policy has influenced other states’ nuclear technological development through quantified structural relationships. Patrick has also written on energy governance, including the role of nuclear technology in long-term energy security and sustainable transitions. His work is motivated by a Canada-focused interest in building institutions and strategies that support open societies in an era of heightened geopolitical risk.
