Rohan Jain is a 2L JD/MES candidate at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School and the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change. With five years of experience in federal environmental law reform, he has presented draft legislation to high-ranking government officials, including the Prime Minister. Currently, he is completing a placement with City of Toronto Legal Services. Rohan’s research focuses on harnessing clean energy and space exploration, proposing an integrative legislative strategy to leverage these elements for a prosperous, democratic future. Last summer, he interned at a boutique environmental law firm, where he contributed to a significant constitutional case. Outside of academics, Rohan writes for Osgoode’s Obiter Dicta, is actively involved with the Liberal Party, and has a passion for music and television.
